Aurélie Bayad
completed her BA in photography and visual arts at Royal Academy of fine arts and MA in
fine arts at KASK in Gent. Bayad is focused on contemporary identity culture on the internet,
examining dominant narratives around femininity, authenticity, and the performance of self
online. Through an evolving multimedia approach that encompasses photography, video,
installation, and sculptural works, she creates immersive experiences that challenge
traditional boundaries between public and private spheres. Bayad’s work has been exhibited
at international solo and group exhibitions.
