Organ Vida explores photography as a critical and experimental medium, with a focus on innovative, interdisciplinary approaches and its connection to the broader field of visual culture. Since 2010, the central part of its programe has been an international festival bringing together contemporary artists whose practices engage with the image in innovative and critical ways.
The programme includes exhibitions, lectures, performances, and workshops that reflect on contemporary image production within the fields of photography, popular culture, and digital culture. Organ Vida is run by a curatorial team consisting of Barbara Gregov, Lovro Japundžić, and Lea Vene.
