The 7th edition of the International Photography Festival Organ Vida, the only festival of contemporary documentary photography in Southeast Europe, officially opened on Thursday, September 3rd, at the main festival location, the Gallery Klovićevi dvori. The festival was opened by festival director Marina Paulenka and gallery director Jasmina Bavoljak.
The same day the festival opened five exhibitions: the finalist’s exhibition Boundaries, The Sochi Project, O Mothers of Bosnia, Inside Outside Under Bucharest and Frame Stories, the latter at the Lotrščak Tower. Alongside these, the festival program offers three more exhibitions: White Nights at Kranjčar gallery, Eastreet at Zvonimir gallery and Imported Desert at Miroslav Kraljević gallery.
At the opening the guests were entertained by TAMAN MLive set and ivanliik, and after 23:00 the party continued at the bar Potepuh in Opatovina, where there will be more parties with video projections on Friday and Saturday.
At the festival opening, numerous visitors enjoyed watching around 400 photographs from over 30 Croatian and international artists. The festival is free, and in the following two weeks photography lovers can enjoy numerous panels, artist talks and lectures, as well as movie and entertainment programs.
