Klara Petrović, curator

Klara Petrović is an independent curator with an MA in art history and comparative literature, active in organizations Organ Vida and KONTEJNER | bureau of contemporary art praxis. As well as being part of both curatorial collectives, she is head of their educational programs mostly dealing with curatorial practice and interdisciplinary work.
She has been awarded the Franjo Marković award by the University of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, for founding Kulturflux, a platform for art history students. Her articles have been published by web portals Vizkultura (dedicated to visual arts) and MUF (feminist critique of pop-culture).
She is currently working as curator and organizer of the Extravagant Bodies festival: Extravagant Love, alongside Luja Šimunović and Stahl Stenslie, and is one of the organizers of the conference Untie the Knot: Redifining Normativity in Love.
