Julie Folly


Julie Folly (1993, Switzerland) is an artist and photographer living in Fribourg, Switzerland. Through installation, photography and video, she creates visual worlds where the limits between desire and repulsion are porous and confronting. Inspired by organic materials and bodies, her work focuses on temporality, gestures and sensations, searching the boundaries between attraction and repulsion, beauty and dizziness.

Since 2018, Julie has been a member of Oil Productions, a collective that produces and promotes porn in the context of queer communities and art. From this collective, many events have been created such as performances, exhibitions, talks, installations and films curation. Julie exhibited her work in places such as Kunsthalle Friart Fribourg, Spoiler (Berlin), Espace Libre (Biel), Wasserkirche Zürich (Visarte) and Festival Images (Vevey).
